Custom cake pricing will vary depending on the requests of the customer.
Our cakes start at $55 for 15 serving buttercream icing and $6/serving for fondant covered cakes. Larger cakes start at $3/serving for buttercream but the final cost will depend on how the cake is decorated.
Specialty cake fillings will add $5-$10 to the order depending on cake size and filling request, and 3d cakes start at $85.
Cupcakes start at $2/each, cake pops at $1.50 each and can be wrapped in plastic wrap for no extra charge. We do offer individually bagging and ribbon tying cookies and cake pops for a fee of $2/dozen.
Decorated sugar cookies start at $2/each, shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate are $15/dozen, gingerbread cookies are $12/dozen, chocolate chip cookies are $12/dozen, peanut butter blossom cookies are $8/dozen, and cookie assortments will be priced depending on the cookies selected. Chocolate covered pretzels are $10/pound.
Orders booked within 5 business days prior to an event may be subject to a $25 rush fee. Deliveries outside of Mt Airy are subject to a minimum $30 delivery fee and depending on the cake load for the week outside territory deliveries may not be available.
We do not offer tasting as we are not a traditional cake shop, but we can arrange cupcake samples at a special price for those clients who request them. Orders and cake designs will be completed via email, but if you would like a sit down consultation there is a $25 non refundable fee for a 30 minute consultation.
Clients can pick up their orders here in Mt Airy at Blossom and Basket located on Main Street or Starbucks at a predetermined scheduled pick up time.
We do request that you be on time for your scheduled pick up time, as we will have other deliveries booked around yours. You will be charge a late fee if you miss your pick up time.
Your order will not be available prior to your scheduled time. If you need to reschedule we request you contact us st least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time.
When traveling with a cake it must be flat and level in your vehicle. The cake should be placed flat in the trunk or on the floor of the vehicle, NEVER on the seat or in a lap. When driving, quick stops/starts, bumps, and hard turns must be avoided in order to keep your cake from experiencing damage during transport. Mommy Magic Cakes will not be responsible for cake damage during customer transport.
Our smallest tiered cake is a 2 tiered 6 inch top and 8 inch bottom. Each tier is 2 layers and will serve up to 25. The top tier is on a cake board which is supported by wood dowels in the bottom tier.
When traveling with your cake be sure to avoid quick stops, starts, hard turns, and bumps. The cake should be placed flat and level in your vehicle; either on the floor of the trunk or floorboards, NEVER IN A SEAT.
Placing your cake (especially a tiered cake) in a seat will unbalance the cake and may lead to cracking, tipping over, or sliding. You also want to keep the cake cool during transport; do not leave the cake in a hot car or the icing will melt and can slide off the cake.
After transport the cake should be kept in a refrigerator until the party.
Cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies can be kept at room temp in low humidity, but do not leave them in direct sunlight.
